Portraiture for Illustrators Course at SPU
These drawings by Brindi Kisamore were not for a project in my class, but show how she drew from the same photo of Audrey Hepburn before my class, and then after. These portrait drawings by Abigail Platter and Renee Biggar were for an assignment about illustrating history texts.
2014 Korea Bojagi Forum Exhibition
Natalie’s silk curtain was included in this large gallery space “the Korean Calligraphy Gallery” on Jeju Island in August 2014.
Fall 2014 “Northern America, Europe Bojagi Special Exhibition” Chojun Textile & Quilt Art Museum
Textile works by artists from the USA, Australia, and Europe featured in a special exhibition at a small textile museum in Namsan-dong, Central Seoul, including “Atonement Curtain” by Natalie St.Martin.
Spring 2014 “Trial and Error: Collage Experimentations” with Sachiko Kusachi at Studio 103
Sachiko Kusachi and Natalie shared the exhibition space for April at Studio 103 in the Tashiro Kaplan Artist Building in Pioneer Square, Seattle. Both artists created some experimental works on paper that uses scraps from previous projects in collages and collagraphs.
Summer 2014 SalaamGarage “The Long Road Home” Exhibitions at AIS and 220 & Change
